Catholic Health is one of the largest healthcare networks in Western New York, providing care through a network of hospitals, nursing homes, home care agencies, and physician practices. The rapid growth of their real estate portfolio challenged their in-house property management team with managing workflow and cost between facilities that were aging and in need of robust capital planning and inspection.

Managing the expansive footprint and variety of real estate types made engaging a trusted real estate partner critical for success. Ciminelli’s developed, owned, and managed medical portfolio of over 2M sq. ft. supported the need for a property management team with unique ownership perspective. Further, Ciminelli’s in-house maintenance technicians were engaged to spearhead property inspections and organize short and long-term budgeting priorities while work order management systems were integrated for efficiency, monitoring, and organization of costs.

Engaging Ciminelli gave Catholic Health the bandwidth to inspect the portfolio, prioritize capital improvements, evaluate vendor performance, and review overall space use and need bringing their real estate into focus. This information and the action plans established as a result ensure the value of the real estate and support a positive patient and tenant experience.
